Product Description
With Tornum’s air distribution box, you can combine two batch dryers to create a dual batch dryer. The air distribution box is connected to the heat source and the cooling fan. With this system, the grain dries in one dryer while the second is being cooled, emptied and re-filled. This ensures that the heat source is fully exploited and you don’t need to worry about when the dryer is ready.
The system consists of:
• Two batch dryers
• One air distribution box
• A fan for cooling
• Can be automated with dryer Control
• Pipe kit
• Shutter and sensor for control
Tornum’s dual batch dryer can be equipped with an option for heat recovery to reduce the drying time and energy consumptiont. A sensor is installed to measure the moist air temperature in the dryer, which is used to control the process. The TSHR dual batch dryer is patent-pending.
Up to 12 percent more efficient
The design of our TSHR dryer means that jusst a few shutters can be used to control the flow of heated air between the two TS dryers. Hot air that has already passed the grain in batch dryer number one can be recycled and transferred to batch dryer number two, thus allowing freshly filled grain to be preheated. The TSHR concept is best installed on an existing TS Dual Batch Dryer.
