Hedåkers Säteri AB is run by Elisabeth and Torbjörn Djupmarker, along with their son Johan. They have two employees and additional staff during spring planting and harvest seasons. The farm cultivates 670 hectares, primarily growing winter wheat, winter rapeseed, and oats. In addition to crop production, the family also operates Dataväxt AB, a company developing precision software solutions for crop farmers.

The reason the Djupmarker family decided to build a new grain facility was to achieve a more reliable operation, a more efficient facility, and simplified grain drying and storage management.

The facility includes a continuous dryer TK4 with waterborne heating from the farm’s boiler central, aerated bins of 1,562 m³, and a bulk loading capacity of 190 m³. Additionally, it houses a cleaner, seed treatment system, and a bulk bagging station. Adjacent to the new building, there is also existing storage in conditioning bins and silos with a total capacity of approximately 3,200 tons.

The intake capacity is 150 tons per hour, while other conveyors provide 60 tons per hour. The entire facility is automated with PLC control.
