Chimpex is the market leader in Port Terminal Operations in Constanta-Romania with:
- 360,000 sq.m. of operating area
- 10 operational berths (with a total quay length of 2.26 km)
- 10 railway tracks and access for road transport
- total covered storage capacity of 300.000 tons
In 2015, Chimpex started a new investment, in order to have the capability to operate a state of the art terminal capable of storing 200’000 tons, from Tornum.
The project includes 20 vertical cells of 10’000 tons each including catwalks and other accessories.
